Boopos Innovation, Inc. (“Boopos Innovation”), Boopos Warehouse, LLC (“Boopos Warehouse”) (collectively, “Boopos,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to all individuals who visit our website, https://www.boopos.com, (the "Site") and/or engage our services (the "Services," which include the Site). This Notice explains the personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

Information that we collect

Personal information you disclose to us

We may collect your personal information that you provide to us in a voluntary manner, including, without limitation, when you express your interest in obtaining information about Boopos or when you sign up for or use our Services.

Personal information collected through our Services

When you engage in our Services, we will collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing addresses, and resumes or social media profiles, which may include job title, company name, and other similar information regarding a person’s qualification (e.g., Linkedin profile). All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected when accessing the Site, through cookies and/or similar technologies

We may automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Site. This information is anonymous and does not reveal your specific identity (i.e., your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you access our Site and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Site, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

You may prevent your personal information from being used by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, available at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html, and the Google Privacy Policy, available at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Information collected from other sources

In order to market our Services or provide relevant information offers and a personalized experience to you, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, as well as from other third parties. This information includes mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent data (or user behavior data), Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, social media profiles, social media URLs and custom profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion.

Use of personal information

We use personal information collected via our Site for the business purposes described below. We process your personal information in reliance on our legitimate business interests, such as entering or performing a contract with you for the deliverance of our Services, with your consent, and/or for complying with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below. We will use the information that we collect to:

  • Communicate with you using your contact and/or account information. This includes the personal information provided when users sign up for our Services. This includes username and password, email address, telephone number, address, job title, organization, and other ways for us to contact you.
  • Send marketing and promotional communications. We and/or our third-party marketing partners may use your personal information for marketing purposes if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. For example, when expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our Site. You can opt-out of our marketing emails at any time by clicking in “Unsubscribe”.
  • Deliver targeted advertising to you. We may use your personal information to develop and display personalized content and advertising (and work with third parties to do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness.

Consent

We may process your personal information if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose, such as when you sign up for or use our Services.

Fulfillment of a Contract

When we enter into a contract with you, we may process your personal information to fulfill the terms of this contract.

We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store technical information.

Duration

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate purpose or no need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion shall be made possible.

Safety

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, and while we have employed security technologies and safeguards to protect your personal information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Site is at your own risk. You should only access the Site within a secure environment.

Minors

We do not knowingly solicit our Site or Services to children under 18 years of age. By accessing our Site or Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we find out that personal information from a user under 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such personal information from our records. Do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to store data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Notice.

Sensitive Personal Information

Sensitive personal information is a subset of personal information that receives additional protections if the information is used to infer characteristics about the consumer. Boopos does not collect any of the information specified as “sensitive” for the purpose of inferring characteristics, and therefore treats sensitive personal information as if it were the same as Categories A-K above.

If you are using an authorized agent to exercise your right to opt-out we may deny a request if the authorized agent does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf.

Your rights with respect to your personal information.

Right to request deletion of the data – Request to delete

You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) legal and regulatory requirements, responding to requests from public and government authorities, regulators, or compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Right to be informed – Request to know

Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know: whether we collect and use your personal information; the categories of personal information that we collect; the purposes for which the collected personal information is used; whether we sell your personal information to third parties; the categories of personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose; the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information. In accordance with applicable law, we are not obligated to provide or delete consumer information that is de-identified in response to a consumer request or to re-identify individual data to verify a consumer request.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights

We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights.

Verification process

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g. phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.

We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. If, however, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity, and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

  • You may object to the processing of your personal information.
  • You may request correction of your personal information if it is incorrect or no longer relevant or ask to restrict the processing of the data.
  • You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.

California’s Shine The Light Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the Shine The Light law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Site, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.

Updates

We may update this Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the Last Updated date below and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this Notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

Other rights
